I met James Gow through working with him at Frys Food Stores in 1985. We got to know each other well by being crazy in the backroom, horsing around, singing rock songs, and starting strange sayings, noises too. James was a party animal, often telling me of his non stop partying at night or weekends, the drinking, drugs, and women. He was in his teens and would want me to buy him alcohol after work.I did sometimes. Then I was transferred...Some years later James came into the Frys I was working at training to do a bread route. After reminiscing,I asked him if he wanted to go out to my car and do some crystal meth thinking he was still the same person I knew back then.He told me of his new life in the LORD and witnessed to me! Wow! This wacko is a Christian?....As I was being witnessed to later, when my life was out of control,I remembered of James, one of the craziest people I've ever met, being changed and free from drugs and alcohol! I became born again and was searching for a church to attend. Living Streams was 2 miles from my house so I thought I would check it out.I liked it and soon I would meet up with James again who was attending there! Since 1997,when we met up again,James has been aggressive in the kingdom of GOD, witnessing, preaching, discipling and traveling in evangelical ministry. He started Extended Hand Outreach in or around 1997. I remember those first meetings in the park.It was a great time in worship, fellowship, healing, and ministering to troubled and broken people.James and Extended Hand have been involved in so much since then.He helped birth a church and a discipleship house now ran by Living Streams. He has done inner city and prison ministry in this city. Now he is traveling all across the country as well to reach the down trodden, the drug addicts, and lost souls for the kingdom of GOD! May God bless Extended Hand Outreach!!!

Hi, my name is Bob and I want to share how James Gows ministry has changed my life.James and I met over ten years ago when I was struggling with a major problem of addiction in my life . James Gow became not only a spiritual mentor but a friend. He began to meet with me on a regular basis helping me sort out things in my life. James was able to use me as a sounding board in his life also to get through rough times. James has given me so much insight into things of the Lord He has taught me that I can be free from addictions through the power of the resurrection of Jesus Christ  and through the forgiveness of my sins.God has brought major healing in my life and I thank the Lord for what he has done for me. I thank God for my friend James who has been there for me over these years.

James Gow and Marc Schmidt are a dynamic spirit empowered duo! For the past three years James and Marc have blessed our congregation with stirring testimonies, anointed preaching, inspired worship and special music! James was dramatically saved from a dysfunctional family and drug abuse which nearly took him to an early grave. He has become a "wounded healer" who is passionate in his preaching and one on one ministry. Marc Schmidt is a phenomenally talented musician, singer and worship leader. When you see Marc and what God has enabled him to do you can't help but see God's glory. Marc and James are a great ministry team together! I strongly recommend them as spirit-filled men of God who are helping His kingdom to come and His will to be done on earth as in heaven.
